Advocacy and Advice

Advice

When clients face health challenges, they often don’t even know what support exists or where to begin. And even once they do, navigating the maze of health and social care can feel overwhelming. NLBC bridges that gap—offering clear advice on available services, guiding families through applications and entitlements, and providing direction for those living with illness, disability, frailty, or mental health concerns.

Advocacy

For many clients, getting their voice heard within the social care system is a constant struggle. Funding decisions and care packages can be confusing, and it’s not always clear if the response is fair or adequate. NLBC steps in to advocate on their behalf—attending meetings, challenging decisions when necessary, and ensuring every individual has someone fighting for the support they truly need.
