Elderly Care
Care Packages
Navigating social services for the elderly can feel overwhelming. We guide clients through the process, advocate on their behalf when needed, and coordinate care plans with local authorities.
Support May Include:
- Carers and personal support
- Respite services
- Social activities and community access
- Equipment and home adaptation.
These packages may be short-term—such as post-surgical support—or long-term for conditions like dementia. Wherever commissioned care falls short, NLBC steps in with charitable programs to fill the gaps.
Domiciliary Carers
We help clients source and vet 24-hour live-in carers so their needs are met in the comfort of their own homes, on their own terms. Our warm, professional carers provide companionship and support with:
- Domestic help
- Personal care
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Medication prompts
- Respite and sitting services
- Access to community activities
- Errands and shopping
Oasis Events
NLBC hosts a monthly social event/luncheon with exciting programs for women aged 60+ to combat isolation and improve emotional well-being.
Grants/ Benefits Assistance
We help individuals access benefits, grants, and entitlements—such as weekly allowances for newly diagnosed conditions—by guiding applications, handling paperwork, and providing clear advice.
Other Suppport
We provide free transport to and from hospital appointments.
